You forgot Brougham.

In 2018 I flew from Texas to Alabama to purchase a 2017 Nissan Sentra Nismo with less than 11K miles. It was easily $5K less than trying to find one in my local market. The dealer had a porter pick me up at the airport. I got to do an unsupervised test drive, and once satisfied, sat down to do the paperwork and start

Funny you should mention Corvette. The Spyder model was somewhat akin to the price increase garnered by the ZR-1 option on C4 Corvettes.

I believe your chariot has arrived. According to Wikipedia, it seems it should have 4WS.

Yes, though I do hope real world fuel economy of the “Hurricane” twin turbo I6 is much better than reported. It’s currently rated at 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, 17 mpg combined while the 6.4 liter V8 was rated at 15 combined.

Whenever I listen to Planet Money, every ceo says a very health dose of luck and help from other people were the foundations of their success. Not one I've heard says they did it all by themselves without those 2 factors.

Hey now! Those edge guards were useful on coupes with long doors.

Interesting note, the wheels were forged Aluminum and made by Alcoa. 18" x 8.5" weighing in at a bit over 18lbs each.

Wasn't it available with the 500 Abarth's 1.4L turbo? I thought that was a pretty tunable engine?

Holy cow! You're right, my bad. I legit forgot season 2 was out as I watched both in quick succession. Thanks for the correction.

OPM is currently twelve 24 minute episodes. I haven't read the Manga so I can't comment on its length, but the anime, on its own is worth a watch.

The Ioniq 5 and EV6 use 800 volt architecture that allows for charging to 80% in about 18 mins, just like the Porsche Taycan. As it's a huge selling point, it's probably something dealers may want to demonstrate.

Paid about $650 to have a 50 amp 240 volt "dryer" socket run from the circuit panel to the opposite side of the garage. It would have been ½ the price if it was installed adjacent to the circuit panel. YMMV based on the rates of those doing the work and the state of the panel. My house was built in 2005, but I know

Every Carmax has fuel storage on site and they fill up every car that sells. That may be different from standard franchise dealers, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

For some people, the siren song of a 10/100K powertrain and 5/60K bumper to bumper warranty makes having a new car worth it for the duration of the time they may need to be paying/financing the car.

Can confirm, while working at Carmax between '01-'05, I managed to sell one of these. The guy asked for an extended test drive off the normal drive route to his house where he loaded it up with 5 kids and his wife to make sure everyone fit. So there definitely was a market.

In my experience as a Nissan owner with automatic headlights, the only time mine move off auto is when I go for the annual safety inspection and inexplicably, the tester turns my headlights to off/drl-only. Last year, it caused me to get pulled over at dusk because the drls are fairly bright and on a well-lit road,

Nissan does the same.

1st Gear: In 2018, I flew quite cheaply to Alabama from Dallas, Texas to save about $5K on a 1 year old Sentra Nismo with about 10k miles on it versus the prices I was seeing locally. Dealer sent a porter to pick me up from the airport and the process was about as painless as could be save for the 10 hour drive home.

Fighting that battle with my LG V20 is what convinced me to give up on swappable batteries. If the manufacturer won’t continue to stock replacement, the aftermarket of replacement batteries is like the wild West, and not in a good way.
