12k annually + whatever your child care annually doesn’t = enough money?
I live in LA and it would be a little tighter than we are used to but definitely doable.
If there was no child care involved yeah that wouldn’t be enough, but also remember in households with 2 people it would really be 24k annually extra.

Then I’m certainly confused as to why you doubt 12k annually being enough to have 1 parent stay home.
