See, this is my biggest gripe against people saying “ being in public makes you fair game for me to take photos and use them how I want”. It makes me think of people who take voyeur photos of women’s bodies at the beach or a guy taking photos of an individual child at the park.

Nothing “sorta” about it. It’s called sellout and co-opting ideology and it was recognized and analyzed decades ago and is a very successful tool for neutralizing progressive ideas.
