Phil is recurring on Speechless, so maybe if you watched them back-to-back Lem would seem funnier by proximity.

Josh was awesome before the writers decided he couldn't be with Mindy anymore and turned him into a cheating drug addict in the space of half an episode so Mindy had an excuse to dump him. Early season 1 Josh is my favorite.
The hospital nurses joined in - the practice's nurses said that before they went on strike. That's why Ben was there, and that's why one of the scabs Mindy fired was at the ER desk.
The original title of that show was Let's Rob Mick Jagger.
I disagree that the archetype needs to be gotten rid of — the characters should just be written better. Caroline Bingley is actually a good example. While being a stuck-up bitch, she also obviously loves her brother and is actually nice to Jane and would have been perfectly happy about Jane marrying Bingley if her…
She was too good for him.
That movie is RCB as main character. She's trying to break up good relationship and doesn't.
I know this is a weird thing to fixate on, but is there a reason the four female characters are named Sam, Max, Frankie, and (for heaven's sake) Duke?
Oh, definitely. Mr. Robot is lying to Elliot about Tyrell.
My guess is parole violation related to his stopping therapy. It would explain how he got into prison so quickly. Since he's resumed therapy, he's getting back out.
Elliot was mad at us because he thought we deceived him (by hiding Mr. Robot's identity). Now that he's deceived us, maybe he thinks we're even.
Based on the fact that nothing shown in non-Elliot scenes has been contradicted by other scenes in the show. Additionally, as far as I remember, Elliot's voiceovers to us don't comment on any scene he isn't in and he doesn't know about anything that happens in other scenes until someone else tells him (right? Am I…
I think it shows that if Esmail actually wants to hide a twist from the audience, he knows how to do it.
So far, any scene without Elliot, either as himself or as Mr. Robot, has turned out to be "real" in the context of the show.
Man, I really need to remember to read the entire thread before replying.
It may not have been the FBI. Could have been state authorities. We only know what Elliot decided to show us. In any case, it probably doesn't matter who got Ray, just that he got got.
It's kind of a reverse Shawshank, since Dufresne offered up his services to the guards in exchange for their protection. (The Olympics judges say that a reverse Shawshank is a lower degree of difficulty).
The Darlene being Elliot's sister reveal seemed to work pretty well.
According to Esmail, it really wasn't supposed to be a "twist", in that he didn't care if the audience figured it out before Elliot did, and in fact, kind of expected that to happen.
I could not believe it wasn't Lori Petty. I kept wondering if they aged her down with CGI. That actress was really good.
