What is it with British pop historians and weird racism? I really enjoyed reading AN Wilson's books, until he started ranting about how letting in Caribbean and Indian immigrants ruined England forever.

Agreed, Power of Art is amazing. My favorite is the Jacques Louis-David episode: required viewing for anyone who liked Citizens.

I think that deer episode was just a dream you had.

I always thought that Raja and Shangela brought out the worst in each other. I think either one would have been fine without the other. We may not have even had the gross Heather/Booger dynamic if the other contestants didn't feel the need to choose sides.

Yeah, exactly. An affair is a reasonable explanation if he ever gets caught meeting the female Mossad agent. It was dark, so I couldn't tell, but wasn't the Refusenik's "date" the woman who ended up fighting Philip?

No no no, the best all time Francine line:
Stan: You were crying harder than Francine watching Gray's Anatomy.
Francine: I just feel so sorry for those poor actors.

Ooooooh. I did not make that connection before.

I can never not think of Juliette Lewis now.

I'm mostly interested to see if Adore can impersonate someone who's not exactly like her. (She was good in the video this week, but "God, Becky!" is right in her wheelhouse.)

I would bet that Ru was ready for Vivacious to go, and knew that April would kill with a Serena Gomez song. Because I agree, the runway tilted the scales in favor of April.

Or have a recurring guest spot every season as Snatch Game Mentor John Hodgman. Which he could do in character as Ayn Rand.

John Hodgman owns Ayn Rand now.

There were almost no April talking heads this episode- very odd considering she ended up in the bottom. I also wouldn't have predicted Darienne's win based on the editing. Maybe they're saving Milk clips for later in the season because she's around awhile? (And, oh god please, maybe they're focusing on Gia because

Snatch Game is going to be amazing this season. As someone noted above, there aren't many "cannon fodder" contestants left- I could see almost everyone doing something interesting. If April does Bjork, she should instantly win AND be crowned Miss Congeniality AND come back in a box next season.

A diaper full of creamed corn? I don't blame her for gagging.

It was charming, how happy she was to be there. Though it seems like the guest judges are usually pretty thrilled.

Yes, and showing up unprepared is the cardinal sin on RPDR.

She's the worst, but she also seems like she's not very talented. Michelle loooooved Phi Phi's look- so far I don't hear any of the judges rooting for Gia.

She's still pushing a little hard on "we're all sisters and we love each other!" You've known these girls for 10 minutes. Dial it back a bit, or wait for episode 6.

I thought she was great last week, was getting a bit tired of it this week, waiting to see how the rest of the season will play out. Adore was asking for it a bit, but I could not wait for the Trinity conversation to end. Did we learn nothing from Tyra Sanchez? You can't tell a queen who thinks she's Beyonce that
