Well I have been a fan of Kehinde Wiley’s work for many years, I’ve seen his exhibitions, I bought the calendar, and I even own his books. Does that qualify me to say President Obama’s portrait is classic Kehinde? I think it’s an excellent depiction of him, but kind of boring.
