But they weren’t supposed to loose their benefits. It was all the free-loading “other people” who were supposed to loose benefits. No they deserve their benefits because they have good reasons for needing them, unlike those annoying “other people” who don’t.

I guess somebody finally explained to Trump all the shade Mattis’ resignation letter threw his way.

It’s not Assad and Syria that’s going after the Kurds. The main force behind this is Turkey. They want the Kurds crushed (have for a long time). They’re the main people pushing for the US to get out of the way.

That’s pretty much always the trade off for increased performance. More wear, replacing consumables more often, decreased fuel efficiency and on down the line. If you want more air, you take the stuff that comes with the air.

The benefits of having incompetent enemies should never be underestimated.

If there was a place to charge an electric car in a my apartment complex I probably would have bought a Spark last instead of the Golf. I know someone at work who has one and she loves it. Uses it as a daily driver.

ADP just sucks. I sit next to the HR rep and the horror stories about their software just keep getting worse. It doesn’t help they did a big round of cost cutting a few months ago and all their local support is gone relocated over thousand miles away.

It was running for President that killed most of the good will he built up. “Now, verb, 9/11” just devastated him. Then he latched unto the looney fringe of the Republican to stay relevant.

The question that really scares me, what happens when one of the ‘fetus is a person’ laws makes it to SCOTUS?

Carl Kasell was part of my morning commute for nearly 20 years. He was a lot of fun on Wait! Wait!.

All branches of the military (particularly the Army) have been steadily lowering their standards for over a decade to meet enlistment needs. They are having a harder and harder time getting new recruits and retaining people when their enlistments end.

Exactly. There is no way he has not expressed his opinions before this. His fellow officers knew and either agreed with him, simply didn’t care or were willfully blind.

It still annoys me that they renamed Anchorage International Airport after Ted Stevens.

“for reasons I can’t even begin to grasp”

Yeah, $50 sounds about right. Wait a second there’s a word following ... ‘million’. No that word does not belong there. I’ll stick with $50 even.

“They want the final days with Jerusalem at the center and he’s happy to even symbolically move that plan forward.”
