They won’t show up to vote because they’re not being offered anything. Every election, Democrats basically decide, “It’s us or nothing, so show up and take this shitty deal,” and voters don’t show up for it. I’d assume that Democrats would learn one day, but they seem to be content with losing, so...

Young people vote, they’re just outnumbered by Boomers. Boomers are still the #1 demographic, and they still control everything. Things will free up when their demographic gets depleted. Mother nature seems to be taking a whack at that now. 

Yeah that still leaves you with the same amount of nothing. 

The bar for Biden was set incredibly low going into this debate. I figured Biden, by default, will win if he stands there for 2 hours without losing his dentures, crapping his Depends, or challenging a moderator to a mud wrestling match after a tough question is asked.

Democrats could absolutely blow this election by nominating Biden and having him go the “safe” route and make it clear none of the actual problems that led to our current crises will get addressed. They could totally do this, and have Trump be the first President who’s been impeached and gone on to get a second term.

Biden won? Wut?

To a certain degree, he’s not wrong in that he’s not that far behind numerically in delegates, thanks to the way the rules allocate said delegates. The problem is that those very same rules make it virtually impossible for him to catch up and take the lead, because he would have to score multiple outsize victories…

JFC, if you don’t like the guy’s policies just be honest about it. Nobody else up there was offering a platform like his. Kind of evidenced by the fact that he’s garnered nearly half of the votes in two primaries now and the only other remotely close to his message, Warren, was a non-factor.

Who else is in the position to run on the same platform with his support? Marianne? Nina? Both of them likely didn’t want to be President yet... AOC is barely starting her career as it is and she’s not old enough... Omar would be likely shot because America is a big bag of racist f*cks... so who would be the ideal…

Yeah, the argument that Sanders put forward during the campaign was “We have a bloc of voters that will show up, and will put us over the top, who will vote for me, but won’t vote for just any candidate.”

Yeah, Sanders’s statement reads less like “I still think I can win the nomination” & more like “Joe, you gotta get your head straight before the convention or you will be eaten alive.”

Probably not, but shouldn’t the presumptive nominee answer these questions?
