So...more bushes and freighters that act like idiots. Got it.

Jack Doff.

Did anyone ever watch Chronologically Lost? Someone edited the whole show together chronologically, and it was pretty cool. It starts with a lot of time jumping, then goes into the whole Jacob/Man in Black story for a while, and then spent some time with our characters in the 70’s before introducing the characters

He clearly wasn’t deserting his new family. He straight up said he was going to get Rey’s beacon away from their doomed situation so she wouldn’t die, too. Rey was the only one who really meant anything to him at this point. He was basically doing Leia’s plan before we knew what her plan was: live to fight another day.

I’ve even seen it twice but can’t recall the exact dialogue, but the plan that Poe saw unfolding was them powering up the transports to abandon the cruiser, which lead him to speed up the plan and take over the bridge. This all happens as Finn, Rose, and DJ are getting caught. Poe and Finn are talking over comms right

You do a disservice to one of the best Simpsons jokes. You should feel shame, but I get the impression that’s beyond you.

Ah, the ol’ Inverse-Melania.

It’s because we all read the words “kamikaze style attacking” and assumed he MEANT “kamikaze style attacking” which means suicide bombing. If it’s an “unarmed drone with a hyperdrive” it’s just...a missile.

You keep telling yourself that, buddy. Have a good one.

Fair points.

You seem to keep ignoring that you were wrong about the scene in Rogue One, and for some reason you keep doubling down on that error.

You’re forgetting that Rey’s story starts right where TFA left off, yet Poe, Leia, and Finn’s story starts after the First Order has discovered their base and launched an attack, and the Resistance has a bombing run planned, etc. etc.

You’re saying Rey only spent one day with Luke? I don’t know about that...

Eh, then we wouldn’t have a final scene between Luke and Leia, which would’ve been horrible considering that would’ve meant that neither Han nor Leia got a scene with Luke in this trilogy.

Well we saw in WWII that a squadron of fighter planes could do massive damage to our naval cruisers so why don’t we just fly planes into everything?

He didn’t have to, really. There’s nothing there for him to worry about. Unless I’m wrong (watch the scene in Rogue One again if you don’t believe me) there’s nothing to contradict.

Because it’s not going hyperspeed? Watch the scene in Rogue One, the ship is still crawling along. Why would it matter if they’d already “pulled the lever” if the ship hasn’t yet entered hyperspace? It’s the speed that does the damage, not the button press.

Incorrect. The ships that explode in that scene haven’t entered hyperspace yet. You could instead remark that the ones that HAVE already entered hyperspace theoretically might have encountered the star destroyer as it was in hyperspace as well and they seemed to have intersecting paths, but that’s getting into

Seems like you’ve completely forgotten the final battle.
