I dunno, I don't think "The media and corporations are bad so we made them demon-run!" is necessarily all that deep. Kinda feels like a teenager's idea of political drama. I'm more interested to see how this iteration's Vergil (here leader of the Anonymous-esque for-the-people freedom fighters) turns bad, as he

Well, I'm not ashamed that my opinion happens to correlate with that of the masses, as if that somehow makes it less valid or not my own. The game made some improvements on the variety in combat in some areas, but none of the core weapons felt as interesting or nuanced as in previous games (well, 1 and 3 anyway). This

So when you looked deeper, you... didn't hate it any more?

I was skeptical like everyone else, but the demo sold me. It plays like a solid game. It made me wanna pour hours into the thing, despite the at-times childish obsession with cursing. Certainly if the rest of it is half as good as the demo then it can't be worse than DMC4. At least with this series Capcom have

Yeah, they said that how long ago? Fact is, they've been silent on it for a whole while now, and the longer they wait, the more dead the PSP becomes - not to mention the more tainted the FF brand becomes!

As a Warlock in vanilla WoW, I know that specific pain very well. Ugh, shards. Arseholes indeed.

See, I think I can see both sides to this. Swear-laden flaming is pretty much never justifiable, of course, but I can see why they'd be pissed off if you were playing troll teams and they were honestly trying to win.

Sadly, like fighting games, you have to find your own tutorials (or people willing to tutor you). Luckily youtube is stuffed full of them!

It's no insult. Valve have not officially launched the game. They'll likely do so once they've finished releasing all the DotA1 heroes (there's what, 15 or 16 left to go?). At this point, the beta's so open that people are playing it like a full release title, but it's Valve's decision as to how to classify that

It depends how you define "playing for fun". If it's ignoring your team, or your objectives, just so you can sit on your lane farming your favourite items and then try and use them by yourself, then... is that fun?

This series they're getting sued for is particularly excellent, also. It scratches the Blitzball itch I didn't know I needed scratching. Really solid (if very kiddy, plot/character/dialogue-wise) RPGs

I dunno. I think something like this is like 3D Pokemon - they'd be afraid it'd kill the sales of their actual base game by providing a superior version.

It has been far, far too long since we've had a good Warhammer Fantasy RTS. I just hope they remember that the strength of the Warhammer franchise is in its large number of varied and interesting races, and that we get some good representation from the off! Wood Elves 4eva

Every Queen with actual power to rule (rather than, say, the current Queen of England). Or Empress, etc.

Now playing

I prefer Knock and Don't Run to the original version!

I'd rather have gendered nouns than measure words

I actually only read the series off the back of watching the first two movies in the new film series! The 3D animation is disappointing but the films themselves are fairly well-done (though no replacement for reading it!).

SPOILERS: which is probably the king of Puck's fairy island

I honestly don't think her joining did much more than, say, Puck did. She makes it a bit lighter (and returns the plot to having characters who won't die, like back in most of the Golden Age arc), but I was pretty happy with providing a supernatural side of things that wasn't inherently evil. Also it made Serpico

I just read the whole series in a week, and... the manga's pretty awesome. I always discounted it as one of those overly macho relics from the early 90s, but it's pretty damn good and holds up well. Now I'm just annoyed there's not more already out.
