But any of those genres of music would be far more interesting to listen to than this. That kind of experimenting would make a band like Haim gain my respect. Mix in a few quality pop songs to please the masses, but leave the rest alternative/weird/challenging.

There is not a single alternative rock song on this album and the pop songs are really bland. I don't hear any noteworthy guitar by a guitarist. Would it be cool for Eric Johnson to make an album where he played synths (if he could make a good album other than Ah Via Musicom). NO! While Danielle Haim is no Eric

Hey, 80's Fleetwood Mac is pretty good! I wouldn't compare Haim's second album to them. I'd compare it to Taylor Swift or eternal boredom.

This is the third album this year that I have enjoyed listening to other than Feist's live version of Pleasure and Algier's The Underside of Power.

Feist's album was so much better live. The way it was recorded made it feel lifeless.

The album is not even on Spotify yet! So, how could they? I'll be expecting to hear replies Friday. :p

Matt Tong isn't doing anything interesting "The Underside of Power" or "Cleveland", the two songs that I have listened to so far.

I was hoping Haim would have gone in an alternative direction that they showed on My Song 5 and Let Me Go from their first album, but even their singles have not been good. There has not been a catchy song like Falling or The Wire yet. Of the three songs they have shown off, two sound like Go Slow which was okay to do

I'm not surprised it got cancelled. Season 2 was just not up to par with Season 1.

Doing the same thing over and over again is boring though. Making Star Trek into a straight-up action film was a good idea in my opinion. The only weak point for the film was the ending and it having too much humor.

She was an alright character. At least she had the common sense not to deviate from the mission in the first place.

Who's Tai?

I also really liked Prometheus. That it took place in the same universe as Alien was just an afterthought to me. This new film just abandoned Prometheus basically and focused on xenomorphs which was a mistake. It would have been a way better film to see that Prologue extended into an hour long film and then make the

I liked Star Trek: Into Darkness. Was it as good as Star Trek (2009)? No. But was it better than Beyond? Definitely.

Given Season 2 was barely renewed, I felt like it would have been best for The Wachowski's to wrap up the show this season. Too much time was focused on character story lines that didn't go anywhere or felt unearned (like Kala and Capheus). From the very first episode of the season, I felt disappointed because it felt

I thought Harry Osborne's character progression flowed well with the plot points of the movie. My only fault with film was that Spider-Man's grenade he threw at Harry should have resulted in Harry dying and Sand Man should have also been murdered by the water.

I actually think Spider-Man 1 is the weakest of the trilogy. When it first came out, it was impressive, but it's a rather simple film.

6.2/10 on IMDB doesn't qualify as hate in my opinion.

That's a strange conclusion to make.

I don't care that even Sam Raimi regrets Spider-Man 3. I think it was a great experimental superhero film. And that people are so mixed on it proves that point. Otherwise, the AV Club wouldn't have dissed the perfection that was "emo" Peter Parker.
