I'm glad the headline was already updated. Thanks to all these Steam sales, I don't really "play games" with Steam, per se. I just buy them, intend to play them, then don't. Repeat two months later with the next sale.

Yeah, that's the part that I feel like they should've been most offended by. Not the nature of the content or the medium, but the fact that the code wasn't even accessible unless you hacked the game to find it, which required extra devices. It's like trying to re-rate a movie because a deleted scene was too racy.
I just want someone to get me six more Move controllers so I'll be ready for Johann Sebastian Joust. That's the only thing holding that game back.
Amazing stuff. Loved the Funky Barn spoiler. Very M. Night Shyamalan.
You spelled "typoes" wrong. It's "typos." The ultimate irony.
YEAH! I loved the comedy club in GTA IV. I really hope this actually happens now.
I think it's more of "having options." He talked about being able to wake up with the Wii U gamepad near him, turn everything on and start playing all from his bed. Or switch from the living room to the bathroom and back again. Or letting his wife take the TV. With the Vita, there's no option to play it on the TV when…
Give it another shot. I don't use Origin, but that just reminded me of the Zune software. When it first came out, it was GARBAGE. Now it's actually really cool. I'm sure Origin has improved plenty.
Spotify is ad-supported and has license agreements with the rights-holders. Netflix is a paid service that also pays the rights-holders. That's not pirating at all. And a lot of music on YouTube is put up there by the artists or the labels, and ad-supported. Plus, there's a difference between copyright infringement…
Seriously, great article. Did not expect it to be nearly as interesting as it was.
I feel like, after a year or two of a new console being on the market, the manufacturer should just stop producing and supporting the previous iteration. Yeah, you squeeze out extra sales, but it cannibalizes the new console. Sony still supports the PS2 and it sold extremely well for a long time, and I'll bet that…
You think that looks like realism? Oh, god. I wish I lived in your world. Go look up some of the numerous design diaries they did and you'll see how wrong you are. They weren't going for realism at all. More realistic than TF2, yeah, but still not realistic.
It's not like Sony decided "fighting disease is boring now." If you read the statement Stanford gave, it sounds like they just don't need as much simulated protein folding anymore. Sounds like they're moving on to the next phase thanks in part to all the PS3 users who helped them out. Which is really cool, knowing…
It was an option. I used to have it set to come on after like an hour or so, and for some reason, the minute it would turn on is when I'd come back into the room and want to play a game. You also could've left it on overnight.
The only cool thing about this is being able to navigate through the miserable EasyDrive interface while driving without having to press buttons or look at it. That was one of my least favorite parts of Burnout Paradise. Had to juggle driving at 200mph, avoiding traffic, keeping track of other drivers, and sifting…
I totally agree. I loved playing as Ezio (until Revelations) and the total power trip that that was, but I really miss feeling like an animal on the run in the first game. Ezio just points at people and they die. Altair had to scramble away like a scared dog.
Looks like it might be worth it to up the contrast on my TV while playing this game. Real life Philadelphia seems to have a much higher contrast level than virtual Philadelphia.
Must be nice having a flawless Internet connection that works 100% of the time, all the time.
Just watched the video they put up about it on the US Blog. Looks really cool to me. Like, yeah, it TECHNICALLY takes more clicks of the X button to get to certain things than it did before, but it's also organized so much better, looks way easier to find things and just browse for stuff, and is way more attractive…
Boo hoo.
