No love for the old Bugati EB110's engine?

Things are already looking pretty awful for the rural poor (or any poor, really) over the next century because of the rise of the knowledge economy. Right now there's plenty of job growth if you're well educated and live in a city. The rural poor are neither of those things, and no matter how you cut it, the

An instant classic, and a rare glimpse at Mercedes' really letting their hair down, paving the way for things like the SLR and the AMG Black series.

Mercedes 190e 2.5-16 Evolution II, because understatement is overrated.

This looks like the perfect thing to replace my 9-3 Aero 6MT sportcombi in a couple years.

While I love the FR-S/BRZ, this just drives home the big "what if" idea of a the Toyota/Subaru partnership producing an affordable, boxer-engined, mid-engine sports car. With the small size of the Subaru 4, it could have even been a 2+2. A Lotus Evora for the masses. Call it the MR4.

Phenomenal engine, absolutely indestructible in stock 8-valve trim, found itself powering everything from tractors to sterndrives, and capable of massive power, SR20 or 4AGE-level power in either 8 or 16v turbo form.

But the tough bit is that Volvo always had that rugged image, but at least in the Northeast US was driven by some of the poshest folks around. I think a little bit of the problem is that the former "well-off-but-don't-want-to-drive-something-pretentious" crowd have gotten more comfortable with a luxed-out Volvo.

They need compelling product, and fast. Right now they're where Saab was in the early 2000's, with a couple formerly competitive models that are now a little long in the tooth(the S80, XC70, and XC90), and one exciting new car that's selling pretty well (the S60).

It's the same thing that happened to SAAB. If Volvo dies, it will be the result of a long, drawn out two-pronged assault from Audi and Subaru.

Not explicitly per se, but a lot of colleges are still way too hung up on trying to get kids to drink "responsibly" when they need to be spending more time educating people to be responsible drunks.

Exactly, college is a time where people explore all sorts of personal and behavioral boundaries, usually greased by alcohol. We need to help kids drink at least a little more responsibly, but we also need to teach them to be better, more conscientious drunks. This includes things like consent, but it also includes

Fupa? I thought they were a pair of pendulous, anatomically-correct testicles...
