Honestly, I like factory nav for long road trips. It was really nice in my moms Durango (2018) when we drove it from MN to AZ. It shows a little picture on the screen of arrows, what the freeway sign will look like, what lane to be in, etc. Google Maps doesnt do that. I have the “same” big radio and same “full LCD

When I listed my IS300 (manual, 190k, owned it for 14+ years) for sale a year and a half ago, I listed it up for $5500, which was the cheapest one in the country by about $1500 as far as I could tell. Eventually I talked to a guy who wanted to have a nice long conversation about the car. He was from Virginia and the

Because the really bad ones are like those crazy, but hot gals you know. They’re a heck of a hoot to drive but you really dont want it kicking around terribly long. The MKV GTI is the safe, boring, choice...therefor the worst.

Character is fun. Not all character has to be dangerously bad. Its like the fun sociable guy you like to have a couple beers with vs a straight forward person who gets to the point with no fanfare, they can both tell you the same story but its way more entertaining from one person than the other.

I’m going to say a MKV VW GTI. On paper it has everything a hot hatch should have, good power, understated sporty looks, functionality, and good numbers on a skid pad.

Except, when you actually drive one, its so robotic and soulless, an engine that feels perfectly linear with no personality. It really is the washing

Did anyone else notice how awkward the person who grabbed the ball from the trunk threw it? It looked like Smalls trying to throw from the outfield in The Sandlot.

I can honestly say almost every rental car I’ve driven has had a shimmy to the steering wheel because of a bent or out of balance wheel and or the steering wheel was off center. Meaning people are smacking these things into nasty potholes, curbes, etc with reckless abandon. I’d also be curious what oil change

I will say, I did actually win something significant on my 3 star marathon ticket last night. I got a MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT....but uh...I already won the Stealth version of it during the Cafe Book part of the game so...yeah.

Is it weird that I’ve never had a negative dealership sales experience? I’ve also never approached sales when I wasnt serious about buying for myself or shopping on behalf of my parents.

But much like you mentioned, it helps to call ahead about a specific stock number like I did for my 2021 Compass. For my moms

The problem is those “roulette” tickets arent actually roulette. You dont have equal odds of winning all the prizes, you have like 80% odds of winning prize A, 10% of winning prize B, 5% of winning prize C, 3.5% of winning prize D, and 1.5% of winning prize E. Its honestly crap. Loot boxes under a different name.

The reason I’m not buying cars is there is no reason to. The very lacking amount of single player races with very broad entry requirements means I really only need a few different cars to do all the races. Why buy anything else? Its just going to deplete my slow earning account very quickly.

We need hundreds of

Insurance *should* pay replacement cost. You cant say its worth $29k when looking at any comparable to yours used for sale would be $35k. Thats what they try to do, “this one here is for sale for $29k!” no mention that it has a dented fender and 188k on the clock vs yours that was in quite nice condition with 52k on

I refinanced my payments through my federal loan servicer to lock in a lower interest rate and lower, longer payments during this pause. Its going to be nearly $400/mo when they restart, which wont make me impoverished, but it will certainly tie up most of my “fun” money every month.

Where can a guy find a pair of those Buc-ees slip on shoes? I cant find them anywhere online.

Except thats exactly what happened. You get through the 39 menus and thats about it. Only playing casually for an hour or so after work for a week and a half I had beaten all of these. There are some challenges and track mastery things left to do but those are all with prescribed cars.

Only a handful of + (or chili

The problem with the claim that they want us to do a wide range of events is that there isnt a wide range of events....each track has roughly 3 different races you can compete in and an overwhelming number of these are Sunday Cup and GR3 races.
We need hundreds of races with tight specifications that force you to buy

So, 3D printing will always be boutique compared to traditional manufacturing, simply because its much faster and easier to cut material off than it is to build it up. Same thing with injection molding, you can repeatedly make the same part over and over and over in a day where as making one part with 3D printing

Has every other commenter forgotten NASCAR does road course races or do they all think their particular stick strike on the dead horse killed it?

HRE has had 3D printed titanium wheels for a couple years now.

The wheels are a big deal breaker for me. The red and too much lip, not enough dish. I see what theyre trying to do, it was a valiant effort, but it was a swing for the fences that just went foul of the pole.
