Even IF they weighed significantly less, its not an excuse for Tesla to put insufficient brakes on the vehicle.

I think the real question is would its competitors, the M5, E53 AMG, Charger Hellcat, and RS6 have faired better? If so, then the Tesla is lacking.
Sorry but I’d take any trim of Challenger over a basic Crown Vic any day.
The thing that they lost me on with the Z was letting it sorta stay complacent. They never did much with the engine and it sorta fell to the wayside.
Ford Panther platform was from 1979-2012, 33 years.
Getting a trucker an extra $1000 on a container ship full of t-shirts shouldnt significantly raise the price of the shirts. A few cents, if that.
OTR ( over the road ) truckers generally work with a dispatch company who helps them find a new load in the place they just delivered. OTR truckers also dont usually go somewhere and then come right back. Often they will work 2-3...5 weeks on the road before specifically asking for a load that gets them home or close…

With all the rebates and such, I got about $9,000 off, putting its price at what 2yr old ones with 30,000mi were going for. I’ll take my brand new car, thank you much.
As long as they do a little due diligence and check with the US and Canada to verify they arent stolen, go for it.
The problem is when you take something that was once a standard feature or that has the hardware in place but you make using that hardware...that you physically possess, subscription based, it becomes a problem.
Imagine heated seats. Sure, you can get a 1 time up front fee of $900...OR they can install them on every…
The real question is, what makes these so easy to steal?
Honestly, its an issue. A lot of dealers can be dicks about warranty stuff, like going to bat with the manufacturer for you on a CEL 2 days and 11 miles over warranty when you made the appointment 3 days before. Or intentionally saying they cant get you in for 2-3 weeks if you didnt buy it from them, they keep next…
My Compass Trailhawk has lots of little nice red accents all over the interior. It definitely dresses the place up a little bit without being a RED interior like a Corsica would have had.
