Again, a big complaint has been US based companies taking US based jobs and moving them outside of the country. Sure, there are issues with allowing other companies from other countries that build elsewhere sell here at a cut rate but largely the criticism has been against US based companies.

IS300 with OEM Torsen LSD and the worlds most dangerously sensitive and intrusive traction control...this would be a non issue for me. Car is also lowered on coilovers (moderate drop not stance bro) with stiffer springs, plenty of wheel lifting happens.

Who gives a shit if Toyota builds in Mexico? The big criticism has been US companies moving their production outside the US. Nobody has been criticising Mercedes for producing cars in Germany and selling them here...

Manufacturing is fantastic for bolstering the middle class though. Everyone talks about the middle class crumbling....funny how that follows the decline of manufacturing in this country.

Real talk here on trade agreements. I have no problem with not tarrifing stuff coming in from countries with an equal or greater standard of living than the US, theyre already competing on a level playing field. But you want to go build something in the absolute cheapest place possible having a race to the bottom? You

yeah but its still rare that I see a modified 300/Charger. Where as like every single 240,90s Civic, or SRT4 I see running around has been modified. Sure you could find an extreme modified example of just about any car (including that one red McLaren SLR) but the fact remains that MOST Chargers and 300s havent been

It hasnt just been them....

Exactly, make this decontented for the people who want to buy a Jeep and replace all the things mentioned with upgraded stuff...the 4wd is not one of those things other than for the most extreme of Jeep owners. Sure, make a 2WD one but make 4wd an option without adding tons of other crap to get it.

Regarding the rod bearing issue, I’m wondering if its the same as the E46 M3 where they put too narrow of a bearing in. Can the bearings be serviced with wider ones before they become an issue?

Its actually not packaging constraints, they deliberately pooched the headers to make it sound more like a traditional V8 because they worried people wouldnt like it if a Mustang sounded like a Ferrari.

What are you talking about? Too far forward? Too far backward? Too far outward? Camber?

That sounds like two pieces of corrugated sheet metal being rubbed together over the noise of a vacuum cleaner.

Drunk and using alternative transportation? What should he have tried to do, drive home?

10 years ago I had a 7.5% interest rate on my IS300 that was just under 3 years old with 31,000 miles on it. Paid 19,700 for the car, financed just over 20k with the taxes and such.

The average new car is $33,000 in the US as of 2016....Take a base Charger R/T which has a MSRP of 33k (or an optioned up one and assume some discounts happened at sale) and assume about 10-12k a year. So we are looking at 2013 Charger R/Ts with 30-36k miles...Prices on Autotrader are ranging from $26k to about $21k.

it fit my loan 10 years ago when I had zero credit and got a 7.5% interest rate. Financed $20,xxx, payments were $421/mo

Notice I said for every $5000 you finance......I didnt mention vehicle price anywhere.

One rule of thumb I’ve heard and noticed is that it will cost you about $105/mo for every $5,000 you finance. So a $20k loan will be $420/mo

Of course youre on here Josh

I’m wondering if Hyundai was referencing torque with tau. Lowercase tua, or τ, is torque. τ=F*d
