LS swap and 24 hours of LeMons?

Well considering what has been seen cannot be unseen...

I need to know more. Was this posted on Reddit or something with more backstory?

Which is weird because that engine platform is older than the current gen Viper, that could have easily been addressed

That looks more like FSAE

I think a big problem is that most fixes discussed will obliterate the mileage that the car gets. That was the sole reason that my mom bought her TDi wagon a year ago in October. She doesnt want any changes that will hurt her mileage. So now if any changes happen and they hurt her mileage her first thing she does

Its there, it doesnt help. Its purely the highly metallic pad compound singing.

I’m from MN and the plate stays with the car. An exception being that vanity plates can be transferred to different cars but in order to be retained must always be on a car.

Thats what happens when the go-fast version costs more than the most “luxurious” version of a car (see AMGs), they get treated like a trim level.

I’m on my first winter with a set of effectively race brakes on my car. When temps drop below about 40 the squeaking on the first few stops rival that of a train stopping while simultaneously doing nails on a chalk board.

I wasnt sure if Dedicated Motorsports was a full time gig now or if it was still just a side project. Regardless, the guy does insane work.

The original swapper (not the current owner) is the head fabricator of T1R motorsports, this thing was insanely meticulously put together.

Considering Matt built it, its one of the most meticulous and clean swaps you’ll come across thus NP.

Depends. On a really tight twisty SLOW road, the back stepping out is fun. I’m talking a hill climb type road where you are at speeds well under 20 mph doing hairpins.

About 10 years ago I worked parts at a BMW motorcycle dealership in MN (along with other brands)...I can tell you for sure, those BMWs and their riders are the most capable on the planet. We had riders who would ride in any condition other than standing snow on the road (since MN doesnt allow studs). I’m talking

Genuine question here, how mechanically reliable is the V10? I’ve read some stories on line of people with the SMG transmission having the engine grenade from over revving...which some how the SMG lets happen.

Speeding isnt generally indicative of bad drivers, rather indicative a of artificially low speed limits.

Plymouth Horizon/Dodge Omni. Phillips head screws everywhere under the hood that were old and rusty. It was absolutely horrid. Its the only car project I ever gave up on and said “fuck it”...got rid of the damn thing.

Maximum oversmug?
