If I wanted to get into this and haven't really been following Marvel much since Civil War, where's a good place to start?  (Please don't say that whole everybody-is-a-Skrull mega-crossover, I tried to read that but it was nonsense covered in garbage.)

Here is the most important panel from the first prequel.

Every time I've seen Clowes in person at readings and whatnot he's been an interesting and engaging interviewee.  It probably helps that Mr. Phipps kept the "Zap! Boom! Pow! Comics aren't just for kids anymore!" stuff to a minimum.

His 1965 book Poetic Meter and Poetic Form is still one of the best books on scansion and prosody available.

Nay, the finale completely undercut the thematic content of the rest of the movie.

But everything else in the trailer was like second-rate Mike Myers.  Ha ha - he talks funny!

Yeah, he's Argentinean.

Nice delivery but quit grinning already.

God, poker is SO FUCKING BORING

I actually thought after the first two episodes this season that they could put this rotten show back on track, but as of tonight I've lost confidence and I'd say bail on it.  I'm not even sure why I'm watching any more, I guess I like two main actors enough to suffer through.

Seriously.  Besides which, the timing is yet another improbable coincidence.

I guess what the TV version adds is more screen time for Tywin, and the danger / irony of Tywin and Arya interacting directly, but he doesn't know who she is.  There's not that much that we're missing by having Arya skip the kitchens, and she's still friends with Hot Pie so she'll have a way to make Weasel Soup.

I like him (the actor), though they haven't given the character much to do yet.  He seems like a good visual fit to me.  The real test will come whenever he gets around to explaining the finger backstory to somebody (I really hope tonight's brief mention isn't going to be all we get).
