Ehhhhhh, it’s worth treating these claims with the skepticism they deserve. All of this assumes we know far more about the brain than we actually do, and by now we should know that guys like Newell are deeply in thrall to the SF they read as kids.
To be fair, first and second gens have some amazingly iconic designs that stood the test of time very well. Even so, every generation have their few winners, even if some or most of others were kind of range between meh to okay.
OH LAWD HE COMIN’
Nah, Zoro is a great pick for best One Piece character
Bernie will watch from the bench.
nah, looks like your typical mobile trash mechanics to me. The art and cinematic stuff looks nice, but underneath its still exploitive garbage.
Looking forward to finally playing Mercenaries with smooth XBox framerates!
Using an optical drive emulator is going to result in faster load times. Seems to me like that should be just as invalidating as changing the ambient temperature.
This seems like a very patronising attitude towards children. Sure kids will enjoy anything aimed at them in the moment and can devolop random fixations, but once they reach a certain age they are capable of distinguishing between something competently made and total garbage. They may prefer the garbage for whatever…
Tell that to the Kaji family and their great success exploiting their nine year old on YouTube.
How inevitable is the story saying “grooming” and “cover story”?
Whoa, what possessive traumatized you as a child?
I mostly agree, and of course this isn’t a review of anything. However, I do think an argument could be made that previous behaviour that affects customers is pertinent information?
Of course, the far bigger issue is that a loud proportion of Cyberpunk 2077 purchasers (and indeed any other big-name game) don’t want reviews at all. They want reassurance. They paid for this game nearly two years ago, for whatever illogical reason (“I’m supporting the massive multi-million dollar company!”),…
Putting a pin here so I can come back later to see how having a seizure is unfair criticism of the christ-game that is beyond reproach
Blessed RLM. Maybe the Monster Hunter film can get it’s own Best of the Worst Spotlight? Anderson’s work is just higher-budget Len Kabasinski after all.
To be fair, Tenet came out in the summer when people still seemed to be respecting this virus. Last week people were jamming 30+ family members from across the country into home to cough and sneeze on Turkey for several hours and have finally said “fuck it” social distancing. A lot of people are getting dead…
As a DC Native I approve of this concept. DC and surrounds deserve a game that captures it’s unique neighborhoods. The division 2 does this to some extent, but it focuses mostly on the mall area. It would be nice to drive through the back streets of Georgetown, Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, and Capitol Hill, not to…
“Well, yes, and?”
