Given the general reactions I’ve seen around the net the last 24 hours, I don’t think that’s the case this time. I also don’t think it’s purely homophobes or gamergaters either. The first game resonated emotionally with a lot of people and it’s hard to watch characters you grew to love outright suffering.

SC chairman backer here. There’s no point in comparing Fdev to CIG as both are colossal disasters as developers that have committed the same sins. CIG has just blown more resources on the project (by a factor of 10) with an engine designed for FPS from the beginning so they have more to show in the FPS department.…
