Where is Demons Souls? That is an all-timer bad name, right up there with Dragon’s Dogma

Definitely. That's the direction I hope they continue in.

Seems... fine? I think the issues that other communities are having are really valid, but this seems like a good first step to cut down on toxicity. I hope they continue.

I’m getting a real nice dose of schadenfreude watching CDPR burn through good will like this.

oh no times are changing and I’m scared!!!!

turns out that kid with an uncle at nintendo was right...just on a longer timeline then we thought

hard to give a shit about a warning buried in the EULA, especially when the game is unplayable without facing a sequence based on a seizure inducing machine

I don’t know if it’s the games fault, but the associations I have with cdprojekt and the worst kinds of redditor types excited for it, makes me negative excited for the game.

yeah...I’m good.

I mean.....they gave a movie to w.s anderson...

I really hope they go for a surrealistic and dreamlike approach with this movie. Or, alternatively, throw subtlety to the wind and go for a Verhoeven level parody.

I always was a little dismissive of this show—until I saw the unionization arc. So good. Probably the best modern depiction of labor organizing.

I’d similarly love for them to WS Anderson on Best of the Worst sometime. Len was adorable when he came on.

This kind of stuff reminds me of the golden age of MMOs/MUDs/MUSHs, where the dev teams was really close to their small playerbase, and would host little gatherings and events. The increase in production values and playerbase seemed to have an inverse effect on how interesting I find the genre, so glad some teams are

absolutely wild that Tenet underperformed The Croods by that insane margin.

I’ve watched a little bit, but I think it was slightly too silly for me to get into. My associations with the classic Kubrick film might be spoiling that for me, though. I’d be open to trying it again, though.

I’m still waiting on a swords and sandals blockbuster that is as entertaining as Gladiator. Closest to scratch that itch was probably the Rome miniseries, but that’s a totally different format.

I know it’s the oldest and lamest observation...but goddamn am I struck by how much this is like Pokemon.
