it’s desperately sad. gaming is an enthusiast hobby, not an identity. I really wish people with that little going on in their life find some joy, and do their own creative work, outside of a glowing screen that someone else created for them.

it has (had?) flashes of brilliance. taking a group out on a fleet roam and running into a similar sized gang for a fight is one of the purest moments of fun I’ve ever had.
highsec should have some advantages, but highsec is currently way more valuable for small-medium alliances. this is only going to continue to push people into highsec, and continue to kill the game.
