I think Bonne Maman jams are toooooo sweet. I bought the raspberry jam once and that was the end for me, I’ve moved on to a smaller brand from Denmark that sells in my stores and they’re cheap and tasty and not half as sweet.

My in laws are Scottish by way of Glasgow, and they still celebrate both Christmas and Hogmanay, despite being aggressively nonreligious. Can’t they just pick one? But no.

I realized a few years ago I hate Christmas. There’s no joy in celebrating it, even when my in laws (my family is not a Christmas family, due to religion) are great. Great in laws still make terrible Christmases when there’s no relaxing in the day, you have to sit around talking to people you have nothing in common…

IKEA mattresses are too soft, in fact. Their highest priced one is far too soft for it to be comfortable for long term use. They don’t really have a firm mattress. They used to, but I guess it wasn’t popular.
