People such as yourself confuse me. I mean, why even bother opening the article/commenting if you’re so against Blizzard/WoW. Furthermore, if you think so little of the writers, as it seems, why do you even visit this website?

But this argument leaves out something important about almonds: Their economic heft—or what California (and the US) gets for that water.

Last flight I was on the tvs in the back of the seat weren't working, so I ended up watching Grand Budapest with the old guy next to me on my Kindle. I didn't mind, he seemed to enjoy the movie.

Seems to me the biggest issue will be getting people to care about the game and know how it is played. The main reason anyone watches any kind of sport, game show, or video game, is because they know a lot about it, and know how hard it can be. One of the best ways to do that, is to play it yourself. But in this case,

Read. The. Fucking. Article.

That;s because you are looking at it like it's a typical video game. It sounds more like live event. Kinda like a game show. Maybe like Nick arcade. people will play to see how far they can get in it. It doesn't sound like something that's meant to be "completed" just played. If it were a stand alone game you could

Anything that can make Yelp useless, I'm behind 100% When you can be a shit dick in a restaurant and still get treated like royalty because you might leave a bad Yelp review, there are some problems.

What I didn't get was, why are they reduced to using film cameras at all?

These were truly wise and profound thoughts. I can only bow low, knowing my mind has never nor will ever reach such levels of awareness, and close with the wise words of the great muppet beaker.

But you needed to make your way to a pay phone (chance of being spotted/identified) and somehow still find out the persons address.

To be more specific, asshole teenagers (and assholes in general) are still assholes. This wouldn't have occurred to me at the age of 8, 12, 15, 19, etc. Shitty people are just shitty, and no amount of PC "everyone is inherently good" justification can fix that.

Nope. Most don't leave their Mom's basement anyway.

I would pay good money to watch one of those assholes crying for his mommy when the judge gives him 20 years in federal prison.

Perhaps they'll even blame their relationship problems on her.

I'm really glad I like my parents.

I used to live out in the county. The crows would land in an adjacent field and eat. They always had a couple of sentries who didn't eat. If I walked out of the house holding a broom or other long, slender item, the sentries would cry out and the flock would scatter. If I came out empty handed, the flock would stay

like I said, they act like humans.

Well said. For me, I think the most salient message of LOTR is that we are basically losing our humanity as we become a more technological and autocratic species. The "magic" is leaving the world when we turn our backs on nature and our origins, so to speak.

I was rooting for Neil Gaiman's American Gods to make it to series on HBO. Starz has picked up the baton instead...Another opportunity missed: adapting Kim Stanley Robinson's Red Mars, which is under development at Spike (!)

Wing tests are awesome, this is one of my favorite images:
