In all honesty though, how much exposition do you really need in a Mad Max film? Max says at the start that it's all about survival and that's all you really need to know. Bits and pieces are filled in along the way but I personally found the lack of explanations refreshing.

It was a natural progression from the 'Lego Friends' line.

Episodes like this are why I persist with Adventure Time. There was so much to absorb here and it's really rewarding to watch an episode that fleshes out the Ooo timeline. Also, I want to know more about the Lard species!

Louie can be pretty off-kilter at the best of times, but this was just…wow. The terror at seeing the flesh monster the first time was all too real. Even the doctor sequence at the start with Jane felt like a dream. Probably my favourite of the season so far.

I've been reading Bendis and Maleev's Daredevil. I struggled with the first couple of issues but I'm about halfway through and really digging it so far. Also been reading Brubaker and Fraction's Immortal Iron Fist after elements from the Netflix Daredevil piqued my interest.

I'd say some sort of mission has already gone down. That's why they're looking around to see if the cops are still following them.
