I’m thinking bigger.  I have a nice bottle of champagne I’m going to pop, then I’m going to drink it all straight from the bottle.

If you hate being tried in the “court of public opinion” (while facing basically no other consequences) try to imagine not receiving a trial at all, and having a cop serve as judge, jury, and executioner. So much focus on the 1st and 2nd amendment, so little on the 6th.

Unless I’m misreading Kesha didn’t tell anyone Dr. Luke raped Perry. Another party brought it up in the presence of Gaga and Kesha.

I have two theories: 1) she never asked to be brought into this case and wants to distance herself from it 2) she doesn’t want to harm Kesha’s arguments by making it look like she lied or made up an accusation.

Weird they identify the men as “first family descendants” without bothering to identify which presidents. Seems they want to validate hereditary privilege (i.e., imply royalty) without mentioning any actual previous president who would clearly outclass Trump (e.g., ANY of them)? Yet the account is White House History.

And a sleeveless dress.

Also - if you’ll just step into the Way Back Machine for a moment - Jackie Kennedy used to get crap for wearing European designers.

Remember when Michelle was castigated for wearing $200 sneaks?

At least Marie Antoinette had special dairy maid costumes when she went slumming in the fake dairy farm she had build on the grounds of Versailles. Yes, the plain muslin costumes cost more than the average salary of a French peasant, but at least they matched the setting.  Melania has a lot to learn sartorially

Alcoholics cannot “enjoy alcohol and not abuse it.”  That’s why they’re alcoholic.

This morning she wore that outfit first when they received the President and First Lady of Kenya; I thought it was one of her better looks. Clearly, she thought those $700 Louboutin pink peau de soie pumps were just disposable. Might as well leave them on to plant a tree (with Eisenhowers, yet, who dressed accurately

But she already wore the garden shoes once.  You expect her to wear the same shoes twice?  Like a peasant?

I like the outfit but it just somehow doesn’t look flattering on her body.

My guess is that Melania doesn’t care about trolling anyone, she just doesn’t want to dress like a farmer. I can even picture some of the not entirely stupid people in the White House (I assume there’s one or two? Maybe??) begging her not to wear this insanely expensive shit and she’s just ignoring them because she

Because of your comment, I too have just discovered Boden and already ordered a jumpsuit. I probably shouldn’t have even looked at the website but it was too cute to pass up.

Some of the changes have already been made apparent. A J. Crew “classic t-shirt,” used as an example, currently costs $14.50 compared to 2017's $29.50.

can I be That Person and ask: affordability...at what cost? I wish they would make their manufacturing model more transparent. don’t want to support sweatshops.

I honestly wouldn’t mind if J. Crew returned to its preppy 90’s roots - they made great wardrobe staples/ work clothes like wool sweaters, khakis, black pants, etc. in neutral colors and quality, natural fabrics that aren’t usually too revealing or weirdly cut. Stuff that stays in your closet for years with reliable

I have to give Jenna Lyons some credit for J. Crew going into the toilet as well.

I hate to hurt anybody. I’m not trying to hurt my friend

I like that this is more of a continuation. This allows old characters to show up from time to time.
