Yeah, Dany from the books I always thought that Dany was aloof. She would use the “but what do I know, I’m just a young girl” line to try to trick foes into not taking her seriously, but I think the aloofness was at times both purposeful and unintentional.

It seems like there are other steps to the cure, like covering the peeled flesh with whatever poultices Sam had prepared (in my mind it is ground up dragonglass for continuity or whatever).
