I would add that if you are prone to heavy periods and/or severe cramping, the Paragard can make periods heavier, so it may not be a good choice for women who already suffer from very heavy periods. At least, that’s what my gyn told me!

I recommend picking up the book and trying to finish it. A lot of the story lines that seem pointless either come to a head (in a way that makes sense for the larger plot of the book) or leaves in an interesting cliff-hanger.

I love both the show and the books! Each as their own merits, but I really do love both and can’t wait for this season and also am excited for the next book... whenever it comes out.
