This. So much this. We need to make this more clear to them. It’s the only thing that gets their attention.

My mother is a ... Republican and she kept me out of all sex ed in school, because, to quote: “That’s the parent’s job, NOT the government’s!” And proceeded to teach me nary a peep. Thank God for Google..

Ditto for Phoenix Arizona.

This. Same. Are you me?

Also, she was a 14 year old child.

This article is about an egregious case of (male) racism and you went immediately to #jealouswhitewomen? I don’t think we white women expend that much energy thinking about the FLOTUS, or a nonpolitician in general, but then, different strokes, I guess.

Actually, I am positive about this. Dudebros probably assume that try-hard women who look like adult film actors will do thinks in bed that other women won’t. This concludes my musings on the matter.

I know the look you are referring to, and as a woman, I truly don’t get how try-hard pretty = hot. Though is my understanding that it supposed to be modeled after adult film actors since women (not illogically) assume that’s what is attractive.

Perhaps there’s a bigger point about how America doesn’t want to admit that women belong in the workforce, so it refuses to officially acknowledge that the workplace exists for women.

I’d like to add to the possible causes for this idiocy: How much of this is due to the sunk costs fallacy? If it’s always been this way, who wants to admit that they were wrong NOW?
