Scott Brown is a joke, don’t get me wrong. But jokes win elections all the time!

I’m not a Democrat, much like the vast majority of the people in this country.
Please provide support for the assertion Hillary helped democratic candidates win down ballot races? I know that was a thing that was supposed to happen, just like Hillary winning the election....
Yes, in much the same way I can win athletic competitions with my 3-year-old son.
Running as a Democrat in a deep blue state, with much higher name recognition than your Republican opponent, who is not an incumbent and never threatens you in the polls, is one way I would define “not contested.”
Liz Warren won a competitive election. Hillary has not. Goalposts are in their original location. You can complain about where I set them, but don’t complain that I reset them.
Democrats have lost over 900 seats nationwide since 2008. There are a lot more elections than the presidential election.
Maybe it’s verifiable but it’s not quantifiable. I don’t personally know a single Bernie supporter who refused to vote for Hillary in the general. In fact there’s data that a higher percentage of Bernie voters voted for Hillary in the general than ‘08 Hillary voters voted for Obama in the general. Likewise even if…
Sure, formal and coordinated Democrat support against the independent candidate had nothing to do with that, and he mostly lost closed primaries while winning open primaries and caucuses. But go with the Democrat who’s chronically unable to pick up the votes of non-Democrats, don’t let me tell you how to live your…
She replaced a retiring Democrat and got an imploding Giuliani as an opponent, who was replaced by a relative unknown named Lazio. Warren had to unseat a relatively popular incumbent in Scott Brown. The situations are not really comparable.
I mean, it’s pretty much accepted she had a massive institutional advantage over Sanders in the primary (not that I’m too sore about that—dude wasn’t a Democrat and only ran in the primary to up his exposure. He shouldn’t have expected to be treated fairly).
I mean, I wouldn’t say she was the worst candidate, but I also wouldn’t say she was a winning candidate...
In a statement to The Huffington Post on Thursday, Mello seemed to be distancing himself from his past by telling them that were he elected he “would never do anything to restrict access to reproductive health care.”
She did not win, because getting more votes was not a condition for winning. That is why she is not president.
I think priest quest is more OP. It’s easy to stack a deck with deathrattles and even hold the card until you’d otherwise we 1 turn from a loss. I’ve had a priest go from 5 to 40 health on me. I wanted to punch my monitor.
I voted for her. Sorry I didn’t vote hard enough! I get it though. It’s not possible that centrist Democrats have failed to enunciate a vision for the country any significant group could get behind, it’s not possible that “hey, at least we aren’t Republicans!” might not be an inspiring line of messaging; clearly the…
And look at all she has to show for it!
Thanks for reading the first sentence of my post!
I’m saying when Clinton was asked about a $15 minimum wage she could have responded with something other than “how about $12?” I’m saying she could have not told a bunch of bankers how it was important for politicians to have separate public and private positions. I’m saying she could have staffed her campaign with…
I believe the poster might be inferring that Clinton was not a charismatic or exciting politician to most of the electorate, and was thereby bound from selecting a charismatic or exciting running mate, lest everybody ask why that running mate was not running for president, and was thus forced to choose Tim Freakin’…
