This is cool, but in my opinion is still not as impressive as this Lego car.

Well where I live our taxes go up every year because “it’s for the kids.” But yet when the next year rolls around the taxes go up yet again for the same problems. If every year I give more, but every year the schools get less then I would say there is a problem somewhere between the two and that issue needs to be

No thank you. Very few taxpayer supported problems are solved by throwing more money at the issue. There is too much systematic corruption that needs to be dealt with first. What good is taxing me another (for example) $500 when only 5 will trickle down to the classroom. The rest will get wasted and stolen. If I am

I wish. My wife works the night before so we're not leaving until noon. Just realized that she'll probably be sleeping during the flight and the sanity of the entire flight rests in my hands.

My question is how do you survive a long flight with kids? We have an east coast to west flight (and back) coming up in a couple months with 3 kids (4, 6, & 10) who have never flown before. We’ll have the tablets and games, but I’m worried about the part you can’t really prepare for. How will they react to being in

Is that any different than this family of sites? Isn’t kinja and shadow banning based on the idea of suppressing opinions that don’t align with the mostly left philosophy of the writers?

I would add a nostalgia playlist. Sometimes I just want to listen Do You Really Want to Hurt Me and remember when MTV played videos. Everyone needs a Playlist of the songs that make them feel old.

When in Pittsburgh head east for about 4-5 hours. You'll find great food, arts, and history there.

The nerds won, but in doing so are killing the product. So then the question is what did they really win?

I appreciate the server’s hesitation to give into management. Never in my dining experience have I decided that I now want that brownie sundae because it was suggested to me. I prefer the approach of asking if I would like to see the dessert menu, and if I say yes then pitch me your suggestion, but I'm not going to go

Looks a little dangerous to me. I wouldn't appreciate someone getting that close to the pavement under those road conditions. It doesn't take much for this to end tragically.

Your comparison is not equal. Say you buy a 400k house and you have a 1500 mortgage, that is not the same as renting for 1500. You might not know this but when you rent all of those other costs associated with ownership are still there. The landlord still has taxes, upkeep, and insurance to pay, plus a profit to make

Those additional costs go with renting too. They are just factored into the rent. The owner isn't eating the cost of the repairs while you enjoy the benefits for free.

Are you taking taxes into consideration for both? Just wondering if you are only looking at the mortgage portion of your home and not the taxes. Rent doesn't separate the two so that might be why they look so different.

We are planning a week long trip to Disney in early December 2019, and just got invited to a wedding cruise in February 2018. We didn’t think twice about taking our kids out for the week, and don’t care one bit what the school or teacher thinks. They don't take my schedule into consideration when they create their

So they were only able to attract 3 million subscribers for like the first year they became well known. They now have raised the price, added many more restrictions, have gained plenty of bad PR as subscribers wonder if this is the month they go bankrupt, and they think that's going to get them to 5 million? I don't

When I win the lottery I'm buying a Juke R. That's the answer to last week's sleeper question.

A big part of that too was due to government interference, specifically, cash for clunkers.

.

Sorry if this was mentioned as I started to skim after halfway, but won’t the hit to subprime borrowers be threefold. Not only will they be forced out of the new car market (maybe a good thing) but they will be in the used car loan market which is probably worse, plus they will be paying more because the tariffs will
