Well, that’s tricky. I can’t legally tell them not to show up and if they don’t they are considered fugitives. I can only tell them what the consequences would be of showing up vs. not showing up...

I have two clients right now in the same position.... on what’s called an “Order of Supervision’ but check in with ICE every 6 months. I anticipate that next time I go with them to check in, they will be taken away. Both have U.S. citizen children. There’s not much a lawyer can do when they physically grab your client…

This is even worse because it applies to LPRs. We already deport undocumented people for receiving benefits...it’s called being a “public charge” under the immigration and nationality act.

Families for Freedom is amazing! They really do incredible things and are run by many people who have actually been detained and been through the immigration system.

I don’t understand your comment. My point is that many white women do not know when to just LISTEN and be grateful for other opinions instead of adding what they think to every conversation.
