Good. I dunno who killed that poor woman, but this kid was railroaded. Guilty or not, that confession was some bullshit.
Every element of that case involving Dassey just made me livid. It was so clear that members of his defense team essentially colluded with the prosecution because just saw the kid as worthless white trash.
That part really got me too. Not only did Dassey have no idea what was going on, but he didn’t even have someone who could advocate for him (his mom clearly loves him, but she was just as lost as him). Dassey was clearly coerced or prompted into everything he said. I’m not convinced whether or not Steven Avery is…
The fact that the convicted Avery on little evidence, his DNA on her car and he’s from THAT family is a sad indictment of the judicial system. The way Dassey was treated was just plain evil. His own lawyer was working against him.
Thank goodness. I think it is episode 4 or so where they hit you with this twist in the series and it blew me away. Not that I wasn’t concerned before then, but every part with Dassey was just horrifying and shocking. When he and his mom discussed what inconsistent meant, goddamn that still makes my heart wince just…
The pieces of shit still have him in prison, but it’s a step. I don’t know about Steve Avery. He might have done it, he might not have. I’m 100% sure that poor Brendan Dassey is innocent.
One piece of good news today.
The optics of pulling people from their wheelchairs is simply staggering in its awfulness. Yet Trump supporters (who will undoubtedly be affected in large numbers) will put on their stupid MAGA hats and cheer Donnnie on, while he simultaneously pushes their heads deeper into a shit-filled trench.
You have got to be fucking kidding me.
Also joining the tour are Terrell Owens giving a lecture on “How to Wisely Invest,” and Ray Rice with his topic on “Proper Elevator Etiquette.”
Define “teased”.
When I was in jail for a few days, the women talked about sexual assault and rape like it was just a fact of life. My bunkie, who is a Black lesbian, showed me pictures of her kids. She said as plain as day and without a hint despair, “These are my 2 rape babies.” like *that* was normal.
2. Abusers are not responsible for their own actions, it’s not their fault they weren’t stopped earlier.
Drinking all day then drinking into the night without a nap is how a cocaine habit is developed.
this is exactly my argument for why having kids in your 20s is a terrible idea as opposed to mid 30s. when you’re 24, you dont give a shit if people judge you and people just brush it off, “oh, johnny passed out in a bush last night... it’s ok, he’s only 26" as opposed to when you’re 39 and “why is your dad laying in…
When people say they are day drinking I pretty much assume they’re getting drunk. If a friend were to ask me to come day drink and I go to his place and he asks me to leave after 2 beers, I’m glassin his ass
Day drinking is fine if you build in a nap. Day drinking straight into night drinking means at some point your brain DVR will stop recording.
I day-drank, (day-drunk, drinkeded?) the past two Saturdays and I gotta tell yah, not as fun as it used to be. I’m 30, so my body starts to shut down after about 3 hours of being out, but I was guilt tripped into staying out longer both times. Here’s the worst part about being day-drunk. No one outside of that bar…
