I was shocked when I saw the news about Perry dying. I didn’t even believe it at first since I saw it in an Instagram story and had to go verify it with a news source. It has to be so devastating for the other five main cast members of Friends, they were close for 30 years.

From what was said, they were extremely tight in a way of people who simply are above the usual passing acquaintance or loose idea of friend. Perry himself said they would see each other at parties or functions and literally forget about everyone else and spend the night talking to one another.

It’s clear they’re going to make a joint statement and even more clear that they’re in deep deep grief. Give the cast some space. No one wants to be in the situation that Paul McCarthy was when John died. 

He’s a personality, they are/were his friends and coworkers and actually knew him, give them some time to grieve without feeling fucking obligated to make some public statement that actually deals with what they are feeling the instant something happens.
