Spielberg has officially lost what he had. I revisited the original Indiana Jones trilogy over the weekend, and my God they hold up. They’re such astonishingly creative and well directed movies. This looks like an overproduced, CGI addled cartoon, like everything he’s done for the past decade, including his dramas.

How was it, baby?

It’s really something. I keep watching out of fascination and then closing it out of second hand embarrassment.

This shit makes me SO ANGRY.

To be fair, a lot of rapists do lie about it.

Natural childbirth doesn’t mean just a vaginal birth instead of birth via c-section. It means vaginal birth with no medical intervention whatsoever. There are a number of interventions short of c-section that ensure a good outcome for mother and baby, and they happen with a higher frequency than your “most cases”.

I fucking hate the term “natural childbirth.” What you want is an unmedicated vaginal birth. There’s nothing “natural” about giving birth in a hospital under the supervision of doctors and nurses or in a manmade bathtub. Truly natural childbirth is fucking dangerous and traumatic, and medical technology has made it

I was coming to post my C.Diff story as well, but yeah...you pretty much covered it all. Mine wasn’t 2 years though - you poor thing. Holy fuck. I can’t even imagine.

And you will never have to worry about whether you had a life well lived.

A lot of Clinton supporters are quiet, to the point of silence (except with a ballot). We don’t want to offend Sanders supporters and don’t want to deal with the barrage of comments we would receive in certain places, so we stay quiet. Fortunately, there are more of us than there are Sanders voters. It just doesn’t

Jesus rollerblading Christ.

It is the only place where we can post feminist stuff with no more than one or two trollers calling us baby killing man hating sluts. That just doesn’t exist anywhere else on the internet.

HamNo, IMO, has become rather insufferable in his writing of late, and that’s negatively colored my impressions of him as a person. But he’s nowhere near the level of the other three. Those three are morally and ethically repugnant: the Hogan and Geithner sagas have made that much clear.

Apparently Florida law requires civil judgments to be paid upfront, regardless of the status of any appeals.

As do mine! I think when you’re nearing or just past thirty and you’ve started to see the way that women’s mobility in the workplace is limited it’s easy to see why Hillary’s voice really matters in Washington. I have so many talented, brilliant, hard-working friends who have changed careers because balancing a family

Makes sense. I’m an almost 30 yo millennial who’s been working as a CPA the last 7 years and I’m a massive HRC supporter. I’m not going to lie a part of me wants her to win because I have a daughter and I want women, especially little girls to have the moment African Americans had when Obama was elected. It’s been

Younger millennials maybe. There was a great article (here?) a few weeks back about how women who have been in the work force longer are overwhelmingly going for Hillary because we’ve experienced first hand how the deck is stacked against women professionally.

Hillay would face the same obstruction, but her policies take an incremental approach that can be more appealing for moderate conservatives who are currently stymied by the rightest wing of their party.

I was intentionally being snarky, but I don’t want to diminish how changing social attitudes improve things for LGBTQ people of color, who are still most at risk of violence and contracting HIV. So those white men in many ways were ambassadors for a larger community. I wish, though, that women had a similar base of
