I can't even watch those abortion debate shows any more - half the time, it's a panel full of guys discussing it, apparently completely oblivious to the irony. There's usually a priest there, for good measure.

Yeah, I totally see hospitals cherry picking doctors to concur on when to get an abortion based on their personal views - they'll only pick the doctors that are 100% anti-abortion over and over again, so they can be like "Well, we tried! We followed the law and that guy said no! Too bad."

Every time I read about Savita Halappanavar I get so, so angry. This new development is bull, and I'm worried this just leaves the door open for biased doctors to deny abortions. Blargh!! Angry!!
