Eh, you made a natural assumption based on limited information available to you at the time. We all do it. But yes, I think it is good to challenge our own assumptions sometimes

I loved coraline! James and the giant peach holds up- just watched it with my nephew the other day. Didn’t see the giant movie, but I hear it’s good.

It was one of my favorites when I was little, and my niece’s current favorite (third grade), but we are both animal lovers. Also loved black beauty, Charlotte’s web, and anything that had animals in it basically. I see what people mean though- emotional/ character development stories are usually geared toward girls/

Those sofas in the first picture deserve a better life in my house.

Call of the wild is a boy book?

I get that this guy doesn’t have the training to stop shootings- he’s there for small fights, smoking under the bleachers, loitering in halls after the bell, crap like that. He’s not actual law enforcement right? Fine. But why the fuck is he, an actual child predator, allowed to be around children? He’s there to

Aside from the very important and poignant and timely message in this post, I’d just like to say that this piece is incredibly beautifully written (obviously- see byline). “I like to think of us as beautiful birds who live perched on very tall branches of very tall trees. We’ve made it so that you can’t find us but

1. I lost the tip of a finger to an eggplant once (they re-attached it, but I can’t feel it), so avocados don’t scare me.

A friend of mine was a runner on the life aquatic (the person who does gofer stuff). She was a super fan of bill Murray. Was. I would not be surprised though if chase is also a tool.

I always found too short catchy as hell, and I thought blow job betty was funny as hell (because c’mon man), except it’s not really.

Oh come on mom!

I am only here for dress

I love freckles! My Irish grandma called them angel kisses and told me the were from my ancestors coming to check on me which I always thought was cute. My dad has them too (I’m mixed- black and white, but I’m super light- he’s not) and he always said he had too or he’d be too handsome and it wasn’t fair to the other

Well I think they are adorable!

I have freckles like that. So do my nephews, though they hate theirs. I think mine are sun damage from sports and surfing as a kid. A few on my forehead, but no nearly as many as on my checks and nose.

I had to try three different types of wrist braces before I found one that worked, so maybe try a different type. And epsomsalt soaks. And it didn’t go away completely until the baby was 4 months old- they didn’t tell me that part!

My husband (35) has had shingles 3 times. The way it was explained to him is that he can’t have the shot yet bc you can only really get it once and it’s only good for approx 15 years, so it’s best to get it when you are older and really need it. I don’t know if that has changed.

I’m so down. And fuck Brenda. She’s always leaving her shit in the copier. So annoying. I kinda like crops tops though- but only with high waisted things unless you are a teenager. Teenagers are supposed to make fashion faux pas.

She explained it with buying Victoria secret slips- if you are average height or above, they barely graze the butt, so they’d tuck easily into jeans. I’ve done it with a blazer for work many times. I do not have a traditional job though.

I’m guessing she didn’t want to embarrass the WIC recipient more than she already was. That’s the only understandable reason i can come up with.
