There are some ugly issues remaining about the images, particularly of children, being retained and accessible-whether displayed or not.

I like SSDs because they're mechanically durable and very tolerant of mishandling while in use. This is a poor article but begs a couple of more important questions:
I thought that they'd hit bottom with this one - light your house with the grease-fire-in-a-can:
Measure, evaluate, implement.
I'm thinking that bleeding cheap vodka into the supply lines to keep them from freezing would be more useful.
Excellent and timely. Thanks LH!
I love the built-in electronics projects that don't have air circulation - nothing like keeping your widgets (and your fire insurance policy) nice and toasty.....
Nikon uses proprietary connectors on its DSLR remotes, so buying one of theirs at discount makes more sense, or use the timer.
@ddog800: Works! Thanks.
@bobkoure: How'd you like to be the first guy to try and light up the "juice" from "one of those tree berries...".
@hightechredneck: Er...um...how, exactly do you do that? We have this neighbor, you see...
Using vegetable oils will make it stink less and burn more cleanly, which is why everyone from the Etruscans onward preferred olive oil.
I'll second @Tim Hare and @IHitYouInTheNose below - any kind of attached token (sticky dots, bits of tape, paper clips etc.) that you can put on, then take off as you use something.
It seems that the biggest effect of a lot of these solutions is to get people to put it on a flat, hard surface (rather than insulation such as your lap, the top of your bed or a pile of laundry).
If they'd upgrade the browser to even basic Mozilla level (or even put in a repeat keystroke on the keyboard) I'd be much more convinced of the utility.
Festoon bulbs were always insanely expensive, mostly because they used to be very hard to find (often had to go to the dealership for them).
I have a $250 HP netbook that came set up to boot into Linux so you can get things done quickly via the Mozilla browser and a couple of other apps, or you can load Windows 7 if you really have to (Word docs etc.). With all of the web-based applications out there, I almost never bother with Windows - there's a…
10,000' above ground means you're either gaining or losing altitude on a commercial flight going to or from cruise altitude (they usually won't let you turn the widgets on until then, and yes, I know that's 10,000' MSL) or you're flying a small plane yourself and shouldn't be playing with the laptop except for a…
@txag08: Probably not such a good idea then. Floaties and tablets bad. Clean tank good. Rust...meh.
He may have missed that the small piece of tubing that goes from the fill valve into the overflow pipe (and is meant to run while the tank fills, in order to refill the bowl) had come loose - that makes an annoying geyser that will splash even from under a lid.
