@savouree: You're right - too much time in the lab, I guess.

Not oven safe which suggests cheap soda-lime glass, and the lids are still plastic with the same problems that you mention. Go borosilicate glass (Pyrex®) or go home.
@Chad Walber: Avoiding over-processed and pre-prepared foods when possible is a given, but unless you have a lot of free time and you're grinding your own grains, canning your own vegetables and slaughtering your own meats, you're eating processed foods.
Salt...hmmm. I quit adding that to most of my food years ago, since processed food is full of it already. My blood pressure loves me.
Whatever's in the supply cabinet, unless I need waterproof paper.
@ka1axy: My Canon AE1 expired on a 2002 trip in Africa causing me to rely on a (very expensive at the time) digital that I'd brought and I just haven't gone back. Too much instant gratification.
Great concept in screening and space use but white-everything? I don't think I could have my own space that wouldn't survive an encounter with bicycle grease or other mechanical detritus. The Coroplast screens are a winner though.
Film...?
@diw321: I should have mentioned that it happens inside - though outside might be fun if you get the right mindset.
In Scandanavian cultures, surviving long, dark winters is a function of warm lighting, good friends and getting outside whenever possible - often work schedules are rearranged to allow people to get outside during the mid-day to get a little sunshine (a reverse siesta).
The most astonishing thing I found when I moved from the extreme western edge of one time zone to the extreme eastern edge of another was how the morning-afternoon daylight available outside of a regular work schedule shifted.
What they don't mention is that smoke detectors themselves have a
@drongch: I think at the end of the day the real limitations are in form factor and processing capacity.
One of the secrets to really good iced tea is just a pinch of baking soda in each pitcher for the same reason. You can argue about the reason, but the results are amazing.
If all you do with a computer is chat, text/mail and do very simple work with images, this might be true. I cannot imagine writing a book, doing advanced engineering analysis and design, nor doing serious photo editing on one of these. Yet.

@Electro Gyrocator: I think the same method would work if the caller's human - it can be very entertaining.
@stevemould001: Exactly - so if you're trying to invent data, you can do so without falling into Benford's trap and inventing numbers with a one as the leading digit more than twice as often as random.
Having given up my land line, I'll miss the good old days when you could do really bad things to an annoyance caller if they were human. Inquiring about various very personal subjects and offering suggestions will get you off a lot of calling lists in a hurry.
You could use this idea without the idea too - pressure differential fail. Only the softest of mountain bike tires run at car tire pressures. Only the softest-headed bicyclists are going to mess with a trucker's rig to get more pressure.
