The timing of that joke was perfect too. Colin Robinson slips in the word “troll” right as he’s stepping into the alley and that’s when you realize it’s going to be an actual troll. Draining the troll with bridge trivia was also pretty great.

I don’t really see that. Yes, he was cruel to her in their breakup, but that kind of came out of nowhere and never made a lot of sense for his character.

Nope. Macy does an arc at beginning of the second season as ratings consultant Sam Donovan, but Clark Gregg plays Calvin Trager, the tech magnate who buys CSC.

Since apparently this is where the Sports Night fans are, let me take this opportunity to ask two questions I’ve had for more than 20 years, both concerning the episode “Small Town”:

Ouch.

I didn’t realize it was Hamill either until the end credits. I knew it was somebody but all I could come up with was that he looked almost but not quite like Keith Szarabajka.

No, these aren’t really Saturday Night Live as we know it, but I have been grateful for them anyway. All three have brought enough funny to justify their existence, and windows into each cast member’s life that we get I have found to be interesting and comforting. I wish they would consider doing them every couple of

Glad to learn about the continuity jump. I saw the first few episodes of this but never added it to the rotation. But I would see still promos during other shows and at some point I started seeing them tease high school hijinks plot lines and thought “Wait, wasn’t that kid barely in sixth grade like two years ago?”

Pass. I can hardly even stand to watch the promos for this that they’ve been airing on HBO.

Same day releases aren’t going to be of much interest to me until they get the price down to the cost of a regular movie ticket.

They canceled recaps in the middle of a two parter? That’s... an interesting decision.

Second this question. More generally, what is the relationship between Go, Now, and Max?

I’m always shocked when I hear Stephanie Beatriz speak in her own voice, or at least her on-TV-but-not-in-character-as-Rosa voice.

Thanks for the cooking tips and for the expression “go ham”.

I’m not any more likely to have yogurt or sour cream laying around than buttermilk.

Any suggestions for homemade sauce that has a similar consistency and flavor to “real” pizza sauce? Most of the recipes I have found online amount to stew a can of tomatoes with a few spices for a while and then blend it down to your preferred consistency. A find that produces a sauce that is either to thin or too

Ok. I think I understand where you’re coming from now. What is frustrating for me is that Disney has the power to actively shape what is meant by “family” entertainment but they seem afraid to use it.

Thanks for the reply. If the complaint is that Disney is being too conservative about the original content they put on their streaming service then I agree. I guess I just disagree about “family” being used as the word to describe that particular brand of conservatism; I think Love, Victor can be a perfectly fine

What is meant by “family movie” in this article? To me that phrase simply suggests a film that kids are likely to enjoy, a pretty broad category that could include Stargirl and Timmy Failure but also Star Wars and Thor and Home Alone and The Rookie but probably not The English Patient or The Devil’s Rejects or Emmanuel

These are always fun, but the winner has become so arbitrary (since everybody can outthink everybody else as much as the plot requires) that the endings have become kind of unsatisfying. After she died I really expected Wuntch to win the next Halloween Heist from beyond the grave. Depending on the timeline that’s
