I was in awe of that sequence. Still trying to figure out if I've seen anything like it on TV.

No! Never speaketh the C word!

I could see this going for a while. It's Always Sunny and Archer both got horrible ratings in their first season and got renewed. Plus, Louie only costs, like, $300k an episode, which is so retardedly cheap that there's almost no way not to make money off it.

I missed seeing him a couple of years ago when I lived in Vermont. He came to Burlington, which was about half an hour from where I lived, but I couldn't get out of work.

I think it's great. Nabin sitting down with one of the top minds in comedy today talking about the craft and the business, just being generally awesome.

It blew the Community finale out of the water for sure. Party Down, over the course of its run, has reminded me a lot of Freaks and Geeks, and this was very similar to the F&G finale — all the major players are growing, and while there's hope in that, there's also the distinct possibility for failure. You can answer, just don't invite them in. Doing those warding spells to reverse the invitation can be a bugger.

YES
I am retartedly excited about this show. It's definitely a worn concept — single parent goes through trials and tribulations trying to raise his kids — but Louis CK has always thrived as a blisteringly funny stand-up doing a fairly conventional routine.

Something I'm still unclear on
Did the show ever establish whether it was Dawn's presence that gave Joyce the health problems or were they naturally occurring? I've only been through the full series once, and I'm going back through right now, but I seem to remember a reference to Dawn being there creating too much

I get the point you're making, Skipskatte, I guess the point of contention for me is how poorly written and acted it is. The

I'd qualify "A New Man" as a very Giles-centric episode.

Oh, come on. They even said "first draft" in the body of the review. Be a little more creative.

When I saw the title
I figured it would be an extended reshoot of that awful, awful Buffy S7 episode. Thank god no one's had that shitty idea yet.

That's because it's a pop culture website, not a world music site. I don't say this venomously, but the vast majority of AV Club readers aren't going to have any interest whatsoever in reviews of academic nonfiction.

For me, "Fly" goes down in the same section of the TV pantheon as "Restless."

I enjoyed that movie, haters be damned. It's been a few years since I've seen it, so I'm not sure how well it stands up on rewatch, but I liked it.

This looks terrible. I feel somewhat bad that you had to review it, but as much as we all might want to, we can't stop you, because you're the hardest working man in TV criticism.

Neither. That's what YouTube and porn are for.

You're thinking of Ass Dan.

The comic timing on the sigh really is perfect.
