Fines should be commensurate with wealth. 250k is nothing to him. That’s only HALF what he spent to get them INTO USC, then would likely cost another 500k to get them through (50k per year tuition, 5 years each, OR if you think they can graduate in 4, 50k tuition plus 12k (impossible) living expenses).

Yet he whines and blubbers about having to temporarily wear a thin piece of fabric over his mouth and nose while in public, which is the definition of a “pussy move”. He endlessly gloats about the sacrifices he’s made for his country, then blithely puts his fellow citizens at risk to show his support for an obese…

She’s always wonderful isn't she? Such a hoot in "Raising Arizona." I saw her off Broadway in “The Miss Firecracker Contest” some time in the mid 80s, and I’ll never forget her performance. Mark Linn-Baker was great in that play as well, it was before “Perfect Strangers.”

I think it’s telling that the current Jez staff appears to know every contestant in the Bachelor franchise and all the personal details of the “waitstaff” from Bravo spin-offs yet seem largely unfamiliar with three very successful female actor/producer/directors who are all highly regarded for their work.

The problem here is that the Jezebel staff is too young to have known Holly Hunter and Jodie Foster when they were young (in Foster’s case VERY young) actors making their mark in excellent films. Their confusion is clearly generational - they might as well be discussing Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman and Barbara Stanwyck.

I was 18 when this movie came out. Even in 1991, it was obvious that this was a movie for middle aged men. The type of men who liked to joke about cleaning their guns in front of their daughters’ boyfriends. It sucked then and it sucks now.
