I mean, it’s the least we can do if we’re going to outlaw abortions and provide little to no support for pregnant women and mothers of small children. Seriously. This is actually the LEAST we can do. But it’s a mile better than babies being left in dumpsters.

“...eats 51 bananas a day...”

I remember seeing the Natasha Richardson adaptation but I don’t remember whether it was good.

Seriously, were this any other circumstance, they would be telling women to cover up more in the restroom because it’s in men’s nature to roam the earth sniffing out vaginas like malnourished hyenas.

that voice.

Hahaha. I did wind up mentioning that movie. I loved it.

Agreed. First of all, he earned the right to be grumpy. He was Peter freakin’ O’Toole.

Women say practical things like “but we have stalls in and I don’t care what goes on in the next one, as long as they don’t pee on the seat.”

Interesting how this ad seems to be targeting mostly heterosexual men (and possibly married lesbians, but I doubt it). Ted Cruz doesn’t care what you think if you’re a woman, because in that case you should probably leave the politics to the men. Don’t worry, we’ll look for you....

I am frusturated that rather than focus on what this man has said he would do should he become president, they’ve choosen to fight at his level and that is where the coverage is. Sorry, I don’t care about who posted the damm twitter

No. Your friends are not the people to help you out of a disease. Professionals are. I can’t help you figure out your insulin or your psych meds or your rehab or your chemo. Once you decide that you’re going to get professional help, I, as a friend, can support you. That’s a valuable role. But if you are in denial

Mental illness is an illness. And you have peaks and valleys. And there are times when your behavior isn't the person you'd like to be. But as a person who has a mood disorder, I both resent and reject your position. Having a mental illness does not preclude being rejected for friendship any more than alcoholism does.
