Seems to me like Amazon is playing a long game for acquiring Rivian at deflated market values.

Where’s the turbo and 6-speed manual combo for this thing???
I’ll say what everyone else is thinking. It needs a manual transmission with a more powerful engine for anyone who is remotely a car enthusiast to want one. But it’s fine for people who want an appliance that will do what most people need. They’ll sell plenty of them.
>> challenges of welding on that material.
There is no point in human history in which you’ve been able to obtain a well-sorted NA Miata for $2800 lmao.
Wanna share with the class how you managed to go back and be living in the before times? I’m sure others would like to join you...
Planes don’t services the cities between LA and SF nearly as well.
I haven’t seen a well sorted NA Miata that cheap in a very long time.
Flying to Seattle today. I will ask the Long Suffering Wife if we can go look at it.
Bring a tugboat.
Multiple factors. First, we have a habit of outsourcing non-routine public works to consultants and contractors rather than bringing that talent in-house in the US. It’s why municipal utilities run pretty well, municipal transit projects suck because the agency doesn’t know what they want, how feasible ideas are, and…
It’s ok. You can dislike max too.
Japan also had some growing pains to make the Shinkansen happen it went double over budget, as it happens everywhere, and like that once it’s operation people rarely remember the initial budget, it just need to be delivered first. I really do hope I can visit the US and the West Coast and not deal with the nightmare…
I wonder how easy/feasible it would be to find a place to park this thing somewhere and convert it into luxury apartments.
I’d be interested to see how the initial cost was set, and EXACTLY what has caused it over budget. Not interested enough to do any research, but you know, Internet level interested. Is it because they just said “we can build for $1 million per mile” and got the contract, knowing it was way under and they’d get paid…
Second, fifth, or dead last, all are still losers. When you want to win just copying the best car is a surrender. You have to do something different to beat them. Mercedes isn’t Aston, they won’t be happy with second, so they tried something different.
RAN WHEN DOCKED! POOL HYDRAULICS JUST NEED A CHARGE! NO HULL KICKERS, I KNOW WHAT I HAVE. ONE OF ONE.
Guryev denies owning the yacht, saying he’s simply the beneficiary of the trust that owns the yacht.
I’d say that Lewis is a bit of a baby, but shit, listen to the man when he tells you what to fix. His résumé is pretty stacked. Also, I’m hoping for anybody to be able to beat Max. Not because I dislike Max but because I hate to see that wife-beating c*nt Jos Verstappen have any kind of joy in his life.
