And you know... CGI has really improved too. [/joke]

Harley v twin from the “loud pipes save lives crowd.” One continuous fart.

Yup. 22 miles. 500 stops. 14 mph.

I dislike automatic headlights. I have my headlights set to automatic, but it has made me complacent. Combined with the always-illuminated dash, I don’t actually know if my lights are on at times when it’s not dark, but lights are still necessary (fog and/or precipitation).

is a hatchback a feature? I vote yes. So much more usable that most trunks. Plus rear folding seats and you have a ton of space for things or activities. A Volt, for example, can fit a twin sized air mattress in the back and even with its small battery, can keep the car cool for a couple of nights.

Automatic headlights. We’ve all seen “that person” driving around at night with only the DRLs because dash lights are always on now. “That person” needs them before they hit something or someone hits them from behind.

For that matter, $43k will also just buy you a brand new GT in Eruption green and with the black 5-spokes that do a reasonable modern reinterpretation of the Torq-thrusts.

Yeah, that’s the biggest problem here. The New Edge mustangs aren’t exactly in demand right now, and for that price you could get a nice late 60s mustang or a newer Bullitt with better performance. The only reason to buy this is the hope that it will be worth more in the near future, but that’s a high buy in price on

I feel both SN95 and New Edge will age out similarly to the Mustang II.

I have zero reservations about giving this a ND all day, every day.

Even if this were a wrapper car, I just don’t see that price, I feel both SN95 and New Edge will age out similarly to the Mustang II. Right now the market is on the fox body Mustangs. Even then, only the low mile 1993 SVT Cobra is pushing into this

It has a high creep factor for some reason.

I’m not real sure why, but that license plate makes me furious.

Neutral: Two things seem to be the Taxi of Choice today.

I’m in the NP camp with further validation of points of concern, and a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

I think this would be a good subject for Hoovie’s Garage.

Two separate thoughts here:

Why are you even bothering to showcase this Jeep? David Tracy has undoubtedly already bought it and added it to his queue of Jeeps I Need To Finally Fix.

Now playing

Why do you think head-on would be any different? Your main point - that modern cars are designed to pass more aggressive crash tests - IS the point of the video, not a repudiation of it. Heavier emphasis on engineering safety into the structure - whether with an overlap test or not - IS WHY THE MALIBU DID SO MUCH

The invisible hand of the free market will fix this, right?

Shut the company down forever. End of story. Sorry for the lost jobs but these types of mistakes must be punished in the strictest of ways for other toxic companies to have any fear of regulation.

What? No way! The free market will solve this!
