“It’s like I’m watching an X-Men movie. It’s like we have mutants living among us on planet Earth.”

The X-men were the good guys, right? These guys never stop telling on themselves...

Everyone thinks “I want to retire when I can still do so in a dignified manner”. Problem is the older you get and the more powerful you are the less likely you are to realize when that time has come or have people around you who are willing to tell you harsh truths.

It’s like the RBG situation all over again. Except I’m not giving Feinstein the benefit of the doubt that her motivation is altruistic.

I am honestly confused by the conflicting tone between this article and this one

FE Engage is like the anti-Shadows of Valentia. SoV had great storytelling, a cohesive art design, and solid characters, despite pretty lackluster gameplay. Engage has garbage storytelling, jarring/over-the-top art direction, and overall weak characters, but really fun gameplay.

This was my thought exactly. Like why is Captain Boomerang using a gun? Instead of…boomerangs?

Straight men liking Yuri does not get the same amount of vitriol that women liking BL does. Their is no one telling men that they need a therapist for liking yuri. People might think its gross for straight men to like yuri. But they don’t go on crusades to shame and guilt trip men over it. The same way people go out

Fetishization is a meaningless term. It can be applied to anyone for anything. Accusing women of fetishizing gay men because they sometimes read gay porn. Is just another way to be misogynist while appearing “progressive”. Many of the women that read BL are bi or lesbian women that read it because it is one of the

There is tons of hentai depicting women being raped and tortured. If he cares so deeply about queer rep why didn’t he mention all of the hentai of trans women being raped. No mention of lolicon. Nope the only thing that matters to him is that teenage girls might draw two gay boys kissing.

For anyone interested, the AMV DocuSeries is a mini-doc series that is meant to complement the first feature-length documentary about AMVs called “Synced Together: AMVs & Their Editors”. Last year, the AMV Filmmakers Association screened the feature at conventions across the U.S. This year, they are working on more

Telling people online to seek therapy is the real-life equivalent of deliberately stirring a hornets’ nest, so it would be pretty much maximum lack of self-awareness to then wonder why you came out looking all lumpy-like afterwards.

If JDK had just stated his opinion like you alleged he did, I think he would’ve gotten less backlash. Instead, he said the BL industry should be “burned down,” called black people who disagreed with him the “weakest link,” said his detractors were “30 year old women” despite being a grown man himself, and then

shouldn’t the title be “great as drag” instead of “great in drag”? unless there’s a cosplay of Kratos dressed in drag or something.

I find it a smidge ironic to see Sisi talk about nuanced discussion getting flattened.

I also see a lot of people complaining and saying “the show is about Joel and Ellie” they used that flimsy excuse to rip apart the second game too, but hey, newsflash, this game and tv show adaption is called “The Last of Us.” not “The Joel and Ellie Show.”

Actually, no, I will not be playing that game, and I don’t appreciate this piece acting like, of all games, this one was the inevitability. Surely you know that Rowling’s overt transphobia is hanging over all of this, and she doesn’t just consider all those purchases to be a validation of her views, but is getting a

Weird, I thought we were supposed to be avoiding this game because of JK Rowling’s unashamed bigotry, yet here y’all are shilling the game...

People sometimes play games to try out new things. Sometimes they play games to live in a fun fantasy world for a while to forget about this one. A world where the cops follow the rules and actually get punished for doing wrong sounds like a pretty intriguing fantasy.

Unfortunately, Steam added this game to my library right next to Thief Simulator, and now there’s a shoot-out going on.
