Was about to say the same thing. I’m of Chinese heritage and it amazes me how people will just say “cast someone asian, doesn’t matter what ethnicity” which completely ignores the history of asians getting stereotyped as one another becase “we all look the same.”

Yeah, as soon as I saw he’s an homage to Greil I knew exactly which one I was after.

Age restrictions are tricky but in leagues the laws get even more difficult - especially in California. I understand your concern because it is legitimate that high dexterity is an absolute must and aging in any capacity will start jeapordizing that.

My uncle when he used to babysit my sister and myself made up a game called “Don’t wake the Dragon.”

Basically he would lie on one of our beds, tell us he was an evil dragon who kidnapped our stuffed animals. He would then take a bunch of animals and place them over his body (or have us do it). Then pretend to sleep.

I’d worry more about what happens to your pets

My reply is to Patricia who was talking about Splatoon 1 being full price. Which came out on the Wii U, not the Switch. The Wii U is a dead console. that’s what I was referring to.

How in blazes can you not discount a game for a dead console?

Yeah, that’s my fear too. I stopped buying new games several years ago as a means to save money. this policy has generally never hurt me and I only make RARE exceptions (probably only two to three purchases in a year that are brand new). But Nintendo is one of those companies that I can almost never find a good sale

Full disclosure I’ve been already considering buying Splatoon 2 (never owned the first) - mostly been waiting on a good sale or deal on it.

This post though may have just sold me on Splatoon 2 even if I weren’t already considering it.

I have seen the Switch at all cons I’ve been to - people just setting it up and playing games while waiting in line for something. I’ve also seen it on subways in Japan, my wife saw someone using it on the bus. It’s shocking how much I’m seeeing the device.

Due to some people I’ve known with heavy accents I can never read “sheet cake” as anything but one of them telling me the cake is awful.

This is very true, especially if you own real property, if you own that then a will alone will not allow you to avoid probate in many states (California in particular) which will then consume months and several thousand dollars in fees before your beneficiaries can receive anything under the estate.

I’m an estate planning attorney - from my experience most clients I see are either in their 50s or about to have their first child. So the reasoning mostly varies between starting to consider end of life decisions or wanting to make certain that their property can pass on to their new child without any hastle.

I also

Mei, Orisa and Ana I would also argue are great representation.

Though I’m somewhat bias towards Mei. Chinese don’t get representation much in games at all so I’m always happy to be able to play one in game. Hell, most of my characters are still wearing their chinese new year outfits for this reason.

Actually it is a tremendous imbalance with it impacting score.

Let’s assume your team kills 5 people (obvoiusly not Mercy) - you are now at a score of 5-0. Mercy rezzes - you are now at a score of 0-0 with your team weakend and more likely to lose the new team scramble. End result, 0-6. It actually results in a score

I’d clump it with found documents really as it is an item you pick up. It’s just that that time has another purpose and often the lore connects its purpose to the story.

If souls titles actually kept track I’m fairly certain they would have a high note for how much time I’ve spent reading lore in the menus. I think it’s the only time in a game when I’m actually interested in reading what a health potion does.

As much as I enjoy audio diaries my problem is a lot of games put them in an area with either nothing else interesting going on so my character is stuck wandering around in circles, doing squats or staring into space while I listen. The game just goes full stop which can be aggrevating for particularly long audio

I’ve seen this study before - generally it tends to rely on how much a person offered a deal feels cheated knowing that the othe rperson CHOSE to get more. If you evolve the scale (let’s say a million dollars) and I were to offer you only one; yes you’d be financially better off taking the deal but most people would
