It’s a lot in the visual design - I find while going around I’ll survey my environemnt and just think to myself “what’s that?” or “I wonder what’s over there.” Other open world games I’ve played I already know what’s over there, the same three or four activities I just did in this area and often in a spot that looks

I can’t remember if it’s in Dunky’s review of Banjo Kazooie or Assassin’s Creed but II keep thinking back to it while playing Zelda. In the video he pointed out (and it may even be Jim Sterling, don’t remember) he pointed out how often developers brag about how large their world is; but they neglect to tell you often

I’m still having this problem as of last night - what baffles me is how they said “keep the controller away from cell phones” - how is that even going to be possible when their chat function will require one?

NES/SNES - Childhood
N64 - Middle School/Highschool
Gamecube - Highschool/College
PS2 - College (Won the $150 I needed to purchase it at Roulette on my 21st birthday)
Wii/360 - Law School
PS3/PS4/WiiU/Switch - Married and licensed attorney

My only problems wth the controller so far

1) That the left one randomly seems to lose signal sometimes and I have to resync it
2) That minus button is really wierd to try to hit as I’m practically having to reach over the thumb stick to hit it - this is further exacerbated by having long nails but remains a problem

Haha, thanks - full disclosure I’m a licensed attorney in California - love the Phoenix Wright games so I felt this was a pretty fitting Avatar to go with for my Kinja account.

This is as good a section as any to post this:

I’m hearing mixed opinions on this but does anyone care that Zelda has no music for much of the game? For me it works because Zelda music is often very loud and at the forefront, it’s good music but you tend to just NOTICE it, a lot. By letting the overworld have no music

I could forgive the sudden weight loss as a sort of “magic nonsense” even though you are correct in that it would be unhealthy (to use an understatement). But the fat voice just suddenly made her weight all the more of a joke and in a completely nonsensical fashion (especialy since this was clearly a directorial issue

Possibly, and yeah that is the problem of it being left to states. While I’m thankful I live in California where we’ve been relatively progressive on this (prop 8 nonsense notwithstanding - but at least that set presedence with the Supreme Court about gay marriage) it does leave transgender individuals in A LOT of

Depends on the state - in California it’s not that complicated to get the birth certificate changed - hell it’s one of the few exceptions we have in this state for publishing that you’re changing your name.

Jeusus Christ yes, I’m just chiming in about Nozaki-Kun as one of the best romance/comedy series I’ve ever seen.

If you haven’t seen it already I would also recomend School Rumble and My Love Story though.

My wife and I were watching this with some friends initially but we ultimately got turned off of it due to the fact that the boys interest was WAY too superficial and largely centered on her just suddenly being attractive (save for one who was just her firned to begin with).

Additionally the fact that the fujoshi

I find it a strange bag, because unfortuntely scum tend to rise to the top because they are the loudest and most vocal people. But the community can otherwise be fantastic. One of the most pleasent things I watch each year is Games Done Quick - the fact o fseeing all these gamers gathered together to raise money for

You know, one of the most encouraging things I’ve seen is that last November I was at the Capcom cup at the PSX - the finals for STreet Figther V were between two americans (names elude me atm) but one was a trans-woman. The audience was so enthusiastically behind her and wanted to see her win even though her opponent

Sooner or later I’ll stop reading that name as Osira

Just popping in to say that if you even slightly misread this headline as “SEVERED head injury” this article takes a whole new level of horror.

Fair enough - also I think it’s a fiar enough opinion at least because the industry is seeing a shift at least in offering more diverse protagonists lately.

He didn’t ask to be on this list . . .and he isn’t for some reason

Bit of both - I have not played Bastion since the buff but have watched a lot of it on twitch and youtube (haven’t had the spare time to play much with trials this week).

Bastion’s op is mostly due to his ironclad right now. The problem was that an unbuffed bastion could withstand being ulted by the likes of Reaper,

This is a legtitimate problem and one of the things that I will admit copyright law does not properly account for - there are a lot of good editorials about legacy games and how alterations can ultimately wipe a game in its original format from existence.

And yes, it can be difficult then to experience these withotu
