One of my very favorite tracks of any artist. It's the noise set on my phone for alarm clock, so I can wake to awesomeness.
I SO wanted to go to that TMBG Irving Plaza Halloween show. I had friends going, but I was 15 and my mother believed New York City to still be the incarnate of Death Wish-era New York, and there was no way she was going to let me go see a show with friends, even if they did have a license.
He slightly does, though, as you can tell there were far too many studio notes involved in that one.
I think he's great, because every time he makes a movie, you know he's giving it 110%.
Are you the creator of Hi and Lois? Because you are making me…. oh, didn't see hundreds others beat me to it.
8 more days til hall-o-ween, hall-o-ween, hall-o-ween…
The score is the only truly great thing about this movie. (Not a fan of the flick itself, it has cool visuals, but the languid pacing was a little too languid, especially when it becomes clear that the film has no idea where it's headed.) Anyway, I've been waiting two years for this, I'm very excited!
Seriously, just reading the description of how the emotions are introduced made me well up a little bit. DAMN YOU DOCTER!!!!!
Lovely track. I may have to get this compilation as well.
YES! BELLY TWISTER!!
TO be fair, I'm upset about both of them not returning.
NO!!! BURT!!!!
I always felt that the Alanis vocal riffing in "You Oughta Know" was ripping off Alice In Chains' "Man In The Box".
His simple reaction of "WHY?!?!?" to Scully using thumbtacks as confetti had me in stitches for quite some time. Crews owns this show.
I was totally gonna say if this album doesn't have Gene's Snake song then "IT'S NOT OK!!"
I feel the greatest assessment/homage to the man's aesthetics was made after Fantastic Mr. Fox in this insightful interview:

Let me tell you something… These are fantastic. And just might save my marriage.
I want the one about the bottle of sparkling apple juice they left at your house.
