For the record, protection sometimes fails. Not excusing his behavior, but that’s still a fact. He’s gross though. And he has no “brand”. Haven’t heard his name uttered aloud in public in years.

I think they were just using it as a metaphor to describe how hardcore boring UES is. They have some great institutions, parks/playgrounds are just as good elsewhere, but after you go to your doctor, get the eff out!

The UES is the strip-mall suburb of NYC. I always feel so bad for people that have to live there when I’m up there. But I get why some people live there, it’s one of the cheapest places in NYC.

If you haven’t seen his episode of Henry Louis Gate Jr’s show on PBS and ancestry research, it’s absolutely incredible. Once Gate disseminated his family’s roots it becomes clear how he is so determined and special. I love that show.
